The California Reducing Disparities Project (CRDP) is an innovative project developed to provide preventive mental and behavioral health services for historically underserved California communities through linguistically and culturally community-defined evidence practices. During the pilot project phase, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) awarded 35 grants totaling $63.1 million to serve approximately 22,000 people.

As we continue our mission to address mental health disparities in California’s diverse communities, your input remains crucial in shaping the next phase of CRDP. We are reaching out to invite you to participate in the CRDP Phase III Stakeholder Survey to help inform the crafting of grant opportunities for additional programs. Whether you are a long-standing partner or a new stakeholder, your insights and experiences are invaluable in ensuring that CRDP Phase III effectively meets the needs of the communities we serve.

What We Need from You:

Please take 15 minutes to complete the attached survey, which is designed to gather information on the following:

  • Your current involvement with CRDP (if applicable)
  • Technical assistance needs that could support your participation in Phase III
  • Feedback on how CRDP can better serve your community
  • Suggestions for improving CRDP Phase III solicitations and implementation

Your responses will directly impact the implementation of CRDP Phase III, helping us to tailor our programs and resources to better support organizations like yours.

How to Participate:

  1. Open the attached CRDP Stakeholder Survey
  2. Complete all relevant sections based on your current involvement and needs.
  3. Submit the completed survey by September 13, 2024.

We appreciate your time and commitment to this important work. Your participation will help us continue to break down barriers to behavioral health care and improve the lives of those in our communities.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to both Hurjessica Virk and Sujoy Shah

For information regarding the CRDP Phase III Program Guidelines Town Halls, please see: CRDP Phase III Program Guidelines Town Halls – California Reducing Disparities Project (cultureishealth.org)

CDPH-OHE apologizes for the short notice.  If you have any questions or concerns, please email OHE@cdph.ca.gov
