Next Steps
What important updates is your organization working on right now, in the context of the CRDP?
NORC at the University of Chicago is conducting the CCMHSS for CPEHN and the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Office of Health Equity. The study is
funded by the California Mental Health Services Act. The purpose of the survey is to
learn about Californians thoughts and feelings toward mental health and the services
provided in California. In an effort to represent California’s diverse population and align
with CRDP’s disparity reduction goals, NORC has engaged in partnerships throughout
the state to reach respondents from priority groups including AIAN and LGBTQ+ populations. The information gathered will be used to inform services and policies
throughout California.
Once the data is collected and analyzed, NORC will provide a final report to CPEHN and
CDPH. Findings will be disseminated following the approval of the final report.
